Hinckley Yachts is looking for yard crew at its Portsmouth, Rhode Island yard — a good way into the marine trades.
The work: hauling, launching and blocking boats with 70- to 100-ton travel lifts; coordinating arrivals and departures with the service managers; monitoring VHF; delivering and collecting parts; daily activity reports; occasional bottom painting and minor repairs.
Hinckley asks for: a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean record, good communication and basic computer skills. Marine experience is preferred.
