The work: acting as the owner's contact through a refit or repair; writing itemized work orders and estimates; travelling to inspect boats; scheduling crews and equipment with the yard's supervisors; checking work before billing and before a boat leaves; selling additional services and helping at boat shows. The role carries an incentive plan.
Hinckley asks for: three to five years in a revenue-generating service position, experience estimating boat repairs, blueprint reading, Word and Excel; a business degree and boatyard experience preferred.
